15 Minutes after hanging the new "Peeps for Sale" sign on the mail-box, a reporter from our local newspaper pulled in to take pictures! Talk about timing!!!!
HOLD STILL- Scott Shilala of the Helvetia/Salem road area holds a two-week-old Emu Tuesday. Shilala said the Ostrich-like birds have fallen out of favor and are now only worth $20-$30 each. As a hobby, Shilala raises chickens, ducks, pheasants and peafowl and sells them from his home.
